What happens
This is the festa major of Andorra la Vella, held on 31 July, 1, 2 & 3 August 2026.
A village festa major in Andorra follows a recognisable shape: it opens with the pregó and a parade through the streets, and over two or three days the village works through an afternoon dance, a communal dinner in the square and concerts at night. Many also hold a mass and a procession for the village's saint. Giants and big-headed figures come out, and the esbarts dance the valley's traditional dances.
