Llac d'Engolasters

A glacial lake ten minutes by car from Escaldes, with a flat 2.7 km loop around it. It is the easiest afternoon out in the country with children, and next to it are a Romanesque church, an accessible springs trail and a barbecue area.

Getting there

Take the Engolasters road from Escaldes-Engordany. There is parking beside the lake. The loop around it is about 2.7 km on flat ground.
